Jeffery Jon Warner, age 49, of Rochester, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, July 15th after health complications due to his battle with alcohol. He was surrounded by family at the time of his passing. Jeff was born on October 28, 1968 in Rochester, Minnesota.
Jeff’s most constant source of joy was music. Jeff was happiest when playing drums, guitar or singing. He was proud of his karaoke/DJ business and enjoyed performing around SE Minnesota. He was a big fan of Elvis Presley. Jeff also had a distinct love of animals. He adored his dog Max. Jeff’s family truly loved him and supported him as he struggled with addiction. His stories and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his biological father, Eugene Warner, and grandparents Bert and Hilda Warner, Ernest and Clara Adams, and Merle and Cleora Akervik.
He is survived by his mother and father, Carol and Ted Adams of Rochester; his sister, Amanda Adams (Jamie Carlson) of Burnsville; and his brother, Zac (Ginny) Adams of Maple Grove, as well as five nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11 am Saturday, July 21 at Macken Funeral Home in the River Park Chapel (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904), with visitation one hour prior to the service. A light lunch will be served immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Paws and Claws of Rochester.
