Lyle Fredrick Voight, 69, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, Minnesota.
Lyle was born July 2, 1948 in Arlington, Minnesota to Fredrick and Erna (Mahnke) Voight. He grew up in Arlington moving to Rochester in the late 1980s. In 1991, Lyle moved to Hayfield where he worked for the Hayfield Window Co. On June 21, 1997, he married Kathleen Gross at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester.
Lyle enjoyed wood working and was very active in Redeemer Lutheran Church as an usher and a greeter.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; one sister, Shirley Schmidt of Arlington; and three nephews. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4th at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Adam Koglin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
