Andrew Boswell, born on December 29, 1973, in Rochester, Minnesota, passed away in his home on April 2, 2025. He was 51 years old.
A proud graduate of John Marshall High School, Andrew went on to pursue technical training at Dakota County Technical College, where he studied to become an electrical lineman. His dedication to his craft and strong work ethic were evident throughout his life.
Andrew was deeply rooted in family and faith. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters: Alexis Boswell, Arianna Boswell, Alicia Boswell and Kali Starkson. Andrew’s legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren—Isaiah, Jayven, Dru, Alayna, Amir, and Zy’Aire—who brought immense joy to his life.
He is also survived by his mother, Susan Boswell; father, Jim Boswell; and sister, Chris Boswell, along with her children Marquissa, Anthony, and Michael. Andrew is preceded in death by his beloved dog, King, and grandparents, Luke and Lorraine Jungers.
Andrew found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether riding his motorcycle down open roads or working out at the gym with determination and focus, he embraced each day with energy. Time spent in the garage was a favorite pastime—tinkering with tools or simply enjoying the solitude it offered. His love for his dogs was unwavering, and they treasured every moment spent with them.
Above all else, Andrew held a deep spiritual conviction. Reading the Bible and sharing the word of God was central to his life’s purpose. His faith guided him and served as a source of strength and inspiration to those around them.
A memorial service honoring Andrew’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the River Park Reception hall at Macken Funeral Home, located at 1105 12th St SE in Rochester, Minnesota.
May Andrew’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of a life lived with purpose and heart.
