Patrick John Leuth, 77, of Rochester, MN passed away at his home from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm on January 24, 2024. Pat was born on June 12, 1946 in Red Wing, MN to Paul and Agnes (Condon) Leuth. Pat grew up in Mazeppa/Zumbrota and later moved to Rochester where he attended John Marshall High School. Pat served in the Navy. He married Lois Walters (Leuth) and they later divorced.
Pat loved all sports including baseball, basketball, football, golf, and playing pool and excelled in them all. Pat loved his dogs, fixing up his home, and gardening. If you didn’t plant from seeds Pat would say, you were cheating. Pat loved to interact with others and always had a quick response and a great sense of humor.
Pat owned 76 gas station and worked in construction. Pat loved to fish which led him to own Twin Pines launch in Garrison, MN. Pat also enjoyed bowling, which led him to his next adventure. He owned part of Recreation Lanes where he added the mini golf course, batting cages, and restaurant/bar named The Spare Room.
Pat is survived by his daughter, Wendy Leuth, grandson, Jayden Leuth of Rochester, daughter Penny, two sons, Paul and Nicholas, sister Ella Lee from Zumbrota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Arjlee, and two brothers, Ray and Ralph, and his beloved dogs, Trip and Eetie.
Pat’s Farewell Birthday Party will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 4:00pm – 7:00 pm at 5230 Hwy 14 East Rochester, MN 55904, with refreshments and a time to gather to remember/share stories of Pat.
